Packers Season

The kids are ready for the Packers season to begin!  They wanted us to take a picture of them wearing their matching Packers Super Bowl t-shirts, prior to a Packers preseason game get-together.

Rochester Trip

Amy and I took a two-day trip to Rochester, Minnesota a few days before our 11th anniversary.  It was my first time visiting the city, but Amy had been there before.  We explored the city, went to the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial, took a stroll along the Riverwalk and got to check out the Rochester Honkers baseball stadium.

Big Ten Rugby Sevens Tournament

We went to the first ever Big Ten Rugby Sevens Tournament yesterday. The Badgers are the 2011 Big Ten Rugby Sevens Champions with a 21-14 win over Penn State in the title game. 

While I watched the rugby tournament, the kids had fun playing in the Cottage Grove Kids Park nearby.

Anika's First Roller Coaster Ride

Anika had her first roller coaster ride yesterday, and she loved it!  We took the kids to Little Amerricka and they had a blast!  

Anika's favorite rides were the Meteor, the Tobaggon and the Mad Mouse roller coasters.  Rick's favorite rides were the Hampton classic cars, the Fire Truck rescue and the Red Barron airplanes.  They also got to watch a magic show.

UW Soccer Clinic

Anika had a lot of fun at the UW Soccer Clinic, she was coached by the UW men's and women's soccer team coaches and players.
